Breaking: President Tinubu Declears State Of Emergency In River State

President Bola Tinubu, Tuesday, declared a state of emergency in Rivers State.

Flowing from the declaration the state governor, Simibiaye Fubara, the deputy governor and all members of the state House of Assembly have been suspended for six months.

Tinubu made the declaration in state wide broadcast Tuesday night.

The petitioners had alleged that the failure to properly record electoral materials prior to the election had affected the results.
