A former member of the House of Representatives in Edo State, Hon Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, on Wednesday dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, citing undue interference from political leaders in the state, among others as his reasons. Announcing his resignation from the party at his Benin residence, Agbonayinma lamented the party had been highjacked by some individuals, who appropriated the party to themselves. While not disclosing the political party he would be joining, the lawmaker, who represented the Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency, said that he would be seeking a return to the lower chamber in the next National Assembly election.
