The claim that UNIBEN has been surrendered to cultists is inaccurate.  Before the ungodly incident took place yesterday at the main gate, the management of the University of Benin had already put machinery in place to overhaul the university’s security architecture.  While we condemn the barbaric killing at the front of UNIBEN main gate, the exact cause is not yet fully ascertained.
