Call For Violence Over Suspended Enigie Empty Rethorics -Aiguobasinmwin Movement
citizens-led group, Aiguobasinmwin Movement has dismissed the call for violence by agitators along with their collaborators behind suspended Enigie in Igbanke area, which is part of Benin Kingdom in Edo State, along with their collaborators as empty rhetoric.
Recall that four Enigie (Dukes) and 67 others were suspended by Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin
by Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin for leading rebellion against Benin monarchy months ago.
President of Aiguobasimwin Movement, Iyamu Osaro Culture and its Secretary
Osayuki-Osa Benson, called out the merchants of violence known as Igbo National Union, based Umuahia, Abia State in a statement, said Civil disobedience by the agitators will be resisted with by Benin.
The pressure group, also warned that those behind the group led by Professor Justin Mgbajiogu as President and Sir Justin Onyenso and its Secretary as others behind false narrative and plot could be consumed by violence based on their doomsday prediction.
The assertion was in response to a recent claim by the impostors known as Igbo National Union previous remarks at a Press Conference that: “When you force a people to die, you equally force them to kill”; noting that “Those who make peaceful actions impossible, will make violent reactions inevitable”.
Aiguobasimwin Movement declared that “As fearless and dogged defenders of great Benin Nation, it behoves on us to quickly tackle and remind the imposters and usurpers whose stocks in trade is to always claim ownership of what they can never have, that they are calling for violence that will directly consume them and their sponsors”.
According to the group, the presence of few Igbo in Igbanke Communities just like we have in Akpakpava, Mission road, New Benin, Uwelu and Evbareke Auto Spare Parts dealers etc in Benin Kingdom, is not sufficient for them to lay claim to the aforementioned places/Communities in Benin as their own.
“With the constant threats and senseless narrative by some Igbo people are pushing over the suspension of four suspended Enigie in Igbanke Communities, it is becoming sacrosanct for the second time to appeal to the Benin Traditional Council to immediately summon a stakeholder meeting, comprising of Community heads, youth leaders and property developers with a view to educating/directing them not to sell any land or property to Igbo going forward. This measure, will no doubt checkmate their sinister plans, threat to lives and properties.
“We are appealing to Edo State Government for the second time to immediately launch search and arrest the Igbos hiding under various groups to instigating trouble in Igbanke Communities over the suspension of four Enigie that are not from Igbo extraction in order to avert their threat to kill and destroy properties in Igbanke Communities, which they had long planned against the good and peace loving people of Igbanke Communities”, according to the group.
