BSM Congratulate Edo Governor Elect Monday Okpebholo
*CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO EDO GOVERNOR ELECT, Monday Okpebholo Of The APC*
, the Benin Solidarity Movement(BSM) worldwide, which to felicitate with the Edo State Governor Elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their success in the Saturday, September 21st, 2024 gubernatorial election.
BSM is very sure that the emergence of Senator Okpebholo and indeed the APC in the Edo State Government House(OsadebeyAvenue) is a sure sign that the eight years of locust that characterised the outgoing administration led by Governor Godwin Obaseki has finally gone forever and would only be remembered in the anals of history as the dark days that were.
From a distance, we have watched Akpakomiza's humility, attention to details and empathy as he campaigned arould the length and breadth of the acclaimed heartbeat state covering 192 wards and 18 local government areas.
In the course of the meandering through out the localities that make up the state as you engaged in your issues based campaign never were you involved in silly games of thrones or fake promises meant to hoodwink the populace.
No doubt we are assured that you will not only keep to your promises but bring to bear your nationwide experience in management of men, resources and opportunities to the advantage of the people of the state in your years as the number one citizen of the state which we pray should extend to eight years.
We are also assured that our traditional institutions will be given a pride of place under your leadership thus moving the acclaimed heartbeat state its rightful pole position in the comity of subnationals.
This is the bearest minimum that we expect from you which we are certain that you will meet up with effortlessly not minding some minor, unavoidable hiccups that may crop up as we go along just as your party, the APC adhere to its welfarist agenda.
Signed:
1). Elder Curtis Eghosa Ugbo,
President, Benin Solidarity Movement (BSM) Worldwide
