Edo 2024 : Major Groups Pledges Support For APC Governorship Candidate Monday okpevbolo

The  Group Directorate Committee has welcome several groups who have decided to support the Monday Okpebholo's campaign.The group which includes G37, Conscience Group And Others visited the campaign office yesterday 14th of July 2024.

The secretary of the directorate Prince Albert Ogiefa who received the various groups on behalf of the chairman in company of the other members of the directorate 
Urged the various groups to go out on the street and preach the gospel of
 *Akpakomiza* and the developmental agenda he will bring to the people of the state.
While urging the people to vote APC in the forth coming Election to Reap the full Dividends of Democracy.

During the visit, various speakers of the various groups emphasized the critical need for its members and the people of the state  to rally behind the APC candidate.They articulated the  belief that  collective support could significantly contribute to the desired victory of Senator Monday Okpeholo.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has ordered for the immediate and indefinite suspension of collection of all revenues in Edo, especially in motor parks and others, until further notice  Governor Okpebholo has also order ed the State Commissioner of Police to arrest anyone who flouts the order.  The Governor said he will review the issues surrounding the collections soon and decide on the way forward.  “The collection of revenues in the State has been suspended indefinitely. Anyone seen collecting revenues on behalf of the State Government will be arrested.  “The Commissioner of Police is hereby ordered to arrest anyone who flouts the order and collects any kind of revenues on behalf of the State Government.  “The Governor will soon  address the issues and concerns raised. Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has announced Barr. Musa U. Ikhilor as Secretary to State Government (SSG); Hon. Samson Osagie PhD as Attorney General and Commissioner For Justice; and Dr Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as Commissioner for Health. The nomination of Osagie and Oshiomhole will be confirmed by the Edo State House of Assembly when they are forwarded soon by Governor Okpebholo. Barr. Ikhilor was born on the 6th of August 1980 at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo State. Barr. Ikhilor attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained an LL.B in 2008 (Second class Upper Division). In 2009, he obtained a B.L. (Second class Upper Division) at the Nigerian Law School and was enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In 2017, Barr.
