Edo Deputy Governor impeachment: Panel Begin Sittings In Benin
The seven-man panel set up to investigate misconduct against the deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, has begun sitting in Benin, the Edo State capital.
The panel is headed by
Hon. Justice S.A. Omonua (retd.) with six other members. All members are currently sitted.
Recall that the Majority Leader, Charity Aiguobarueghian, announced impeachment notice during plenary, and said the petition dated March 5, was signed by 21 out of the 24 members against the deputy governor.
