Benin Born European Bases Artist Unveils New Album

A Benin Born Europe Based Artist, George Imadiyi, popularly known in the music industry as 'Gmoney' has on January 15 2024, unveiled his new music album titled 'EDO CULTURE and ROYALTY' to public glare in Benin City in commemoration with the new year celebration.
Speaking to journalists at the venue, Gmoney, a 2008 graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State, stated that the new album forms part of his lined up hit musics which have hit the public and have inspired the people toward positive thinking, saying it is an affiliate to the Keymakerrecords studio.
He added he became a singer, rapper, dresser, dancer, producer and song writer with geographic connection between Nigeria and Europe by providence, as he was faced with the agony of life when trying to seek greener pastures abroad, especially as he was on transit where he found life to be more difficult.
George, said that though not deterred by the prevailing circumstances, he had to forge ahead to explore his innovation and harness his potentials to survive, stressing he apparently ventured into afrobeat to get his inspiration to promote the African culture, especially being a child that has respect and value for his native culture.
He added that while growing up, he sees the likes of these music legends role models, top American music star like 2Pac, South African born music maestro, late Lucky Dube and Nigerian born Fela Anikulakpo Kuti, the grand master of Afro juju music and the legendary Benin Born, Pa Idemudia Collins AKA the Talent of Benin, who have the knowledge of streets life.
He noted that he has developed a sound which blends with genre and cultures as he stays true to his roots with rhythms and lyrics
The Milan based music star, who has been honoured with very many distinguished awards in Europe like; ADMA award 2018 as the Best Indigenous Artist of the year, EDISA award as the Best Afrobeat of the year 2019 and Edo Cultural Best Lyrical Artist of the year 2020 held in Lazio City in Italy among others, has to his credits melodious musical albums which break into the local nigeria scene in February 2016, and debuted hit tracks like ''Classic Man'' which resonate rhymes over street-save production and in 2017, he released a double single song titled ''Thank God and Notice'' featuring JAYSONG, The 'Eephus', a two-track showcase for the Wonderland Crew, also unveiled in August 2017, the album was adjudged number 38 as the Africa Best Songs and peaked at number 16 on a single chart in Europe.
In 2018, he released a new single album titled ''UKPOKPOWA'' featuring CHAOLIN, which was leading in Edo State.
As a result of his leading prowess having top the charts in his city and building up a name in Europe, he was duly nominated for EDISA Artist of the year award in 2020, and the ''DIASPORA'' award for Best Artist of the year 2020.
It is on world record that that he had also released his debut album in 2018 titled ''Born a Winner'' and got to the peak through music which appreciated his culture while expanding it
Today his latest album titled '',Edo to the world'' is an extension of these ideals as the music has significantly improved dancing mood and energy gain.
He has two latest single songs released in 2020/2021 which are shaking the world titled '' FOR YOUR MIND, SHAKE AM'' and ''AGBANJO and IGHO''
Gmoney however advised youths, fans and upcoming artists across the world to remain focused and steadfast in pursuit of their set goals, especially to believe in themselves, stressing the world is big to excel in one's calling.

He maintained his music titled ''Edo Culture and Royalty'' was the pride and glory of our ancestors
