Addressing The State Working Committee General Airhiavbere underscored the paramount significance of the 2024 elections.
He emphasized the imperative for thorough preparation and a cohesive effort from the entire state, firmly rejecting the notion that the election should revolve around a specific individual or section, as seen in the past.
Expressing discontent with the hardships faced by the state, its citizens, and traditional institutions under Governor Obaseki's leadership, General Airhiavbere voiced concern about the circumstances surrounding Obaseki's emergence.

He Said He will Prioritize Infrastructural Development By Investing In Modern Transportation Systems, Sustaining Energy Initiatives And upgrading Technology Networks .
He Decried The Sorry State Of Edo State Primary and secondary Schools And Pledged To Revitalizing Schools , ensuring the state of the art facilities are provided for a conducive learning environment and employment of more teachers .
On agriculture He Pleged to modernizing farming practices providing irrigation system as ND storage facilities And providing access roads to markets
Responding on behalf of the Edo state APC working committee the state secretary of the party Lawrence okah thanked Arhiavbere for the support he has been giving the party expecially the support he gave the party during the last general election and helping the party when they where unable to pay it's lawyers during the tribunal cases and described him as a true party man.
He however said that there where lots of aspirants in the party and also that the has not zone to any senatorial district as you cannot zone what you do not have
