The Statement State As Follows..

We the members of the Benin Solidarity Movement BSM Worldwide, totally rejects on behalf of the Benins home and in Diaspora, his felicitation to our Great King, the Oba of Benin, for we do not see him as a true son of the Kingdom due to past events emanating from him and his Government office. 

He should keep his felicitation to himself and his Government, we are just patiently waiting for his to complete his tenure as Governor in the next few months because he has been an embarrassment to the Benins and to the Oba Palace. We can not continue to allow him play mind games with our Benin people using the Oba of Benin Palace because it is obvious to all that he has no respect for Traditional Institution. 

We also thank God and our Ancestors that to be a Governor is temporary and we hope he will carry the Government House with him when he is exiting in 2024 (just a few months away).

And we also thank God and our Ancestors that Our Benin Kingdom OBASHIP is heridatory and eternal.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has ordered for the immediate and indefinite suspension of collection of all revenues in Edo, especially in motor parks and others, until further notice  Governor Okpebholo has also order ed the State Commissioner of Police to arrest anyone who flouts the order.  The Governor said he will review the issues surrounding the collections soon and decide on the way forward.  “The collection of revenues in the State has been suspended indefinitely. Breaking: Governor. Okpevbolo Makes Fresh Appointment

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has announced Barr. Musa U. Ikhilor as Secretary to State Government (SSG); Hon. Samson Osagie PhD as Attorney General and Commissioner For Justice; and Dr Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as Commissioner for Health. The nomination of Osagie and Oshiomhole will be confirmed by the Edo State House of Assembly when they are forwarded soon by Governor Okpebholo. Barr. Ikhilor was born on the 6th of August 1980 at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo State. Barr. Ikhilor attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained an LL.B in 2008 (Second class Upper Division). In 2009, he obtained a B.L.
