FG To Terminate Some Road Projects Without Clear Source Of Funding

The Federal Government is considering the termination of some reckless projects inherited from previous successive governments that have no clear source of funding.

The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, disclosed this while briefing newsmen  after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Umahi also disclosed that the President had approved some road construction projects and plans to toll some roads in the country.

The petitioners had alleged that the failure to properly record electoral materials prior to the election had affected the results. However, the tribunal found that while documents were submitted, no witnesses were called to properly authenticate them, rendering the evidence inadmissible.
