Stay Off The Benin Throne Edo National Vioce Advices Obaseki

The Edo National Voice As Adviced  The  Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki To Stop Dirty Politics With The Benin Royal Throne. This Was contained In A Statement In Benin city Signed By The Leader Of The ENV In Benin City . The statement Reads as follows. 

It is no longer news that Governor Obaseki is obsessed over his failed attempt to take custody of our stolen Artefacts and it's proceeds. Hence, the reason why he has been doing everything within his power to undermine our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom. It could be recalled that we have been at the forefront of the struggle to continually protect our common heritage and pride while deflating all Governor Obaseki sacrilegious actions against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom which includes his failed attempt to take custody of our stolen Artefacts and it's proceeds, the release of Arisco Osemwengie who is a well known enemy of our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom from prison and failed attempt to inaugurate Arisco Osemwengie as Imperial Majesty of a street in Benin Kingdom known as Utatan, failed attempt to use some defiant Enigies to polarize our well structured Kingship and Kingdom, Using Benin Royal Museum as a tool to set up his private Museum called MOWAA, Continuous withholding of over 6 Months Benin Traditional Council Statutory Allocations etc.

Therefore, having realized that all his sacrilegious plans against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom were sequestrated to the dustbin, he had no choice than to hurriedly convey Executive Council Meeting wherein he planned to invoke a non realistic and dead on arrival 1979 Law on Local Government Council Administration. Regrettably, in the said resolutions reached during the Executive Council Meeting conveyed by Governor Obaseki on the 11th of August, we greatly observed some infractions on our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom which are are as follows:

(1) That Governor Obaseki want to divert part of the Benin Tradition Council(BTC) Statutory Allocations to tune the loyalty of some Enigies and especially the defiant ones that were recently sacked from their palace by our revered King to himself for political reasons. 

(2) Governor Obaseki and his Cabinet Members resolutions are also deliberate plot to continue their stock in trade to undermining the influence and powers of our revered Throne.

(3) Governor Obaseki think money is everything and as such if he throw money around, he can easily lure some Enigies that are under the rulership of our great King just like how he always throw around and waste our money during every elections year.

Our Resolutions:

(1) That the plan attempt by Governor Obaseki led administration to invoke the dead on arrival 1979 Law on Local Government Council Administration will fail again just like every other sacrilegious plans.

(2) That Governor Obaseki should focus on governance and stop interfering in Traditional matters.

(3) That as far our Enigies weren't appointed by Governor Obaseki, then their loyalty to our revered Throne will be protected and guided jealously.

(4) That money can't buy our Enigies on like your commissioners and SSAs/SAs.

(5) That Governor Obaseki lack the constitutional power to dabble into Traditional matters especially the Culture, Custom, Tradition and Heritage which was divinely and ancestrally given to our revered Throne.

(5) That as a Governor whose tenure is near, we expect you to stop all your unnecessary fights against those you don't like.

(5) That Governor Obaseki should know that Power Is Transient and he will leave Osadebe House on the 11th of November, 2024.

(6) That with this recent dead on arrival resolutions reached by Obaseki led Executive Council against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom, we are now empowered more than ever before to continuously virus all communities in Benin Kingdom ahead of Governorship 2024 in view to preventing what is happening under Governor Obaseki regime.

(7) That judging by Governor Obaseki sacrilegious actions against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom, it is obviously obvious that Obaseki is not a Benin man.

(8)That there is no doubt that what ever Governor Obaseki has done or intend to do against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom will be upturn by the next Governor. A case study is what is currently happening in Kano state.

(9) That all Benin Sons and Daughters across the globe should immediately rise to condemn Obaseki sacrilegious plans against our revered Throne and Benin Kingdom.

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has announced Barr. Musa U. Ikhilor as Secretary to State Government (SSG); Hon. Samson Osagie PhD as Attorney General and Commissioner For Justice; and Dr Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as Commissioner for Health. The nomination of Osagie and Oshiomhole will be confirmed by the Edo State House of Assembly when they are forwarded soon by Governor Okpebholo. Barr.
