Edo Speaker Agbebaku Makes A Turn Around congratulates Edo Governor Elect Okpebholo

The Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, has congratulated the governor-elect of the state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his victory at the just concluded governorship election. The All Progressives Congress, APC’s Okpebholo, defeated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Asue Ighodalo with 291,667 votes as against 247,274 votes. Agbebaku’s congratulatory message was contrary to the position of the governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and the State leadership of PDP who vowed that they would not congratulate the governor-elect, alleging that the election was rigged and manipulated in favour of APC. Agbebaku, who congratulated the governor-elect at plenary on Wednesday, advised to be wary of sycophants.
